BRETT A. HARRINGTON, CMI, is a Vice President with International Appraisal Company in Libertyville, IL, where he specializes in property tax planning, research, compliance, valuation and appeal activity for many clients and properties  located throughout the country. Prior to managing IAC’s Midwest Regional office Brett managed IAC’s West Regional office in Los Angeles, CA and IAC’s Southeast Regional Office in Atlanta, GA. He has been with IAC since 1994, specializing in property tax administration and consulting. Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He has served as Vice Chair of the Property Tax Symposium Committee in 2005, as the Chair of the 2006 Property Tax Symposium Committee and the Property Tax Chair of the 2007 Annual Conference. He has appeared and testified as an expert before numerous local and state appeal boards throughout the country.
