In the case of St. Bernard Self-Storage, L.L.C. v. Hamilton Cty. Bd. of Revision The Ohio Supreme Court affirmed the decision by the Board of Tax Appeals, finding that a portion of the purchase price that was contractually allocated to goodwill consituted a part of the value of the real estate.
