PAUL D. ROBERTS, ASA, CTA, is Senior Vice President of International Appraisal Company in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. He has been active in the appraisal and property tax fields for over 36 years. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Real Property-Urban discipline, in the American Society of Appraisers, a Certified Tax Assessor (CTA) in New Jersey, a General Certified Appraiser in four states, and is qualified as an appraisal expert before many appeal boards and state tax commissions in the United States. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Mr. Roberts is a past Chapter President, State Director, New Jersey State Coalition Representative, and Regional Governor of Region 15 with the American Society of Appraisers. He also served as the Chair of the Public Relations Committee, Chair of Performance and Evaluation Committee, and a member of the Admissions and Membership Committee with the American Society of Appraisers. He has lectured extensively, written several articles and appeared on CNN. During his career he has provided appraisals of commercial and industrial properties throughout the United States and Canada. Valuations have been completed for many different purposes such as for the sale and purchase of property, mortgage, insurance, estate, accounting, federal tax purposes, ad valorem taxation, and condemnation of property.
